Mr. Colvin focuses his practice primarily in the areas of bankruptcy, debtor/creditor rights and Indian law.
Mr. Colvin received his Bachelor's Degree in Spanish in 1987 and his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1990 from Brigham Young University.
Mr. Colvin was admitted to practice in Nevada in 1990. While in law school, Mr. Colvin participated in Moot Court and served on the Moot Court Board of Directors. Prior to joining Marquis & Aurbach, Mr. Colvin worked for seven years in private practice and recently served for six years as General Counsel for the Las Vegas Paiute Tribe. He represents clients in state and federal courts and has traveled extensively to other jurisdictions in advocating his clients' interests.
As the son of an air force pilot, Mr. Colvin grew up in many areas. While living in South America, he became fluent in Spanish and continues to speak that language. Away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Connie, and their three children. His other interests include reading, golf and exercising.
